    Unsaved Notepad files disappear after Windows 11 restarted


    Hi all,I need help here please. I have been working on a project with lots of jottings kept on two separate notepads. This afternoon, I just finished a project review session and I needed to pick my kids up from school.I dashed of the house because I was already late. I returned to discover that my laptop had restarted. I really need assistance to recover these files.I have attempted %AppData% without any result.I sincerely have no means to get the information back than to recover these 2 files. Please help me.

    How to disable to show Asterisk in Notepad windows title bar for unsaved Notepad File ?

    After windows 10 update, it will show * "Asterisk" in Notepad windows title bar for unsaved Notepad File.
