Windows 10: Unselectable UI issue

Since a recent Windows 11 update, I have had some significant issues with the system UI. Although when I use my mouse or touchpad, the cursor moves normally, the UI elements no longer indicate that the cursor is over them and cannot be clicked on. I have restarted the computer several times, and sometimes for a few minutes after the UI is functional, but it inevitably stops working again soon until the next restart. I haven’t downloaded or run any sketchy files recently, so I doubt the problem is related to a virus. Is this a known issue?

Issues with installation of new MSATA SSD

Thanks Navy, I did wonder if it had unselected the EFI partition. Edit: I used the command to list the partitions on the C: drive and select the system partition and then proceeded to format it as originally suggested. I just need the steps that followed when you happen to get that spare moment.

 

Blank Screen after Latest Windows 10 Update-- Cannot Switch Between users.

As our initial troubleshooting step, we suggest that you follow these steps:

• Press Windows + R and type "msconfig".
• Select Selective startup and Load system services.
• Unselect Load system startup items.

Let us know if the steps provided resolved the issue.

That's what the auto setting will do since you're over the 1333 mark it jumps to the next step which isn't listed or officially supported I assume by that ram.

At this point though I would suggest dropping the multi one step or .5 so that we can get something stable and possibly take the heat issue out of the picture for now.
