Windows 10: Unsolved issue with BSOD, Win10

Hi!

At the beginning sorry for any language mistakes.

I was directed here by Microsoft support, for last few months I have been receiving randomly BSOD during or after playing, watching movies on YT or Netflix. Sometimes it is just crash to desktop without errors and after reopening app it worked fine.

My PC was build last summer and till November I think everything worked fine. Problems had started along with RDR2, I wasn't sure if the game was broken or my PC, I spent few weeks writing with them because older games worked fine.

I think I checked every solution, I even bought new GPU, system had been installed few times, all drivers looks updated, I checked ssd for bad sectors and RAM for errors using built in app and memtest but with no bad results. I gave up on RDR2 cause it gave me new errors and support could not help me.

Last weekend I got another game, borderlands3, which gave me desktop crush during intro and I had to say hello to their support as well, later I got BSOD too. I spoke with Microsoft support today and they asked me to check for solution here.

Please tell me what kind of information should I provide, my PC is:

That's what the auto setting will do since you're over the 1333 mark it jumps to the next step which isn't listed or officially supported I assume by that ram.

At this point though I would suggest dropping the multi one step or .5 so that we can get something stable and possibly take the heat issue out of the picture for now.

 

BSOD- atikmpag.sys

This is most likely due to an installation/upgrade error with ATI driver's. I suggest doing DriveSweeper and the following:

• Drivesweeper all drivers & in Safe Mode
• Unistall all drivers that aren't used in DriveSweeper (CCC Profiler Updates, MSI AfterBurner, anything related to ATI that use's it's drivers.)
• After you do this, the first thing you need to do is go into Device Manager and Unistall your ATI Drivers

Once your done, restart the PC and then try installing the latest drivers.


I had several issues with this in the past, but I overcame it with logical reasoning and whenever I have a driver issue, I just use these steps and I always overcome the problem.

Got it working in the end, not sure what happened but now have bootable usb with Win10 on it.
