    Unstable internet help


    My internet periodically spikes to well over 4500 ping after being connected for about 5 minutes. Its fine for the first 3-5 minutes after start up, but then these perfectly spaced unreal lag spikes set in, these spike patterns last anywhere from 20 seconds to an hour, they never stop happening, and the longest gap I've had between spike patterns is exactly 5 minutes.The spike interval is exactly 5 seconds, and it doesn't matter what server I use its the same results.This computer is kind of new in that its a pc I put together from old parts of my main PC and this issue has been apparent since

    Unstable internet help

    Help with unstable system

    latest update,
    I have changed psu for xfx 750W and keeping to stock values and use on board graphics, the system seems stable , has been for several days. If I try to unleash, then Its prone to occasional crashing.
    So next step was to put HD6950 in with CPU in stock setting.
    System very unstable again. crashes after about 5 mins.
    I have lots of fans , CPU temp ~35deg, HDD ~30deg,
    HD6950 ~ 49deg
    When system crashes, I dont get bSOD but a grey screen with thin black vertical lines. I then have to re-boot . I get back, Windows reports error with usual 124 error.
    Could the CPU be an issue ?
    Dont have another to test.
    Any suggestions ?
