    Unsure About Refurbishing Computers With Win 10 On Them


    Hello everyone,

    So I've been trying to refurbish and sell off computers with Windows 10 on them.


    I went onto the site here, downloaded the Media Creation tool to get a Windows 10 iso image,

    and loaded it onto my flash drive. I took the flash drive with the Windows installation media on it,

    plugged it into a PC, and installed 10 from the flash drive right onto the PC.


    I've been repeating this process with other computers.

    The question is, does this go against Microsoft's ToS regarding Windows 10' licensing and activation?


    During the Windows setup, I would click "I don't have a product key" to install 10 unlicensed,

    so these computers would have unlicensed versions of 10 on them.


    I need to know if this is legal because I don't want to get into any legal hassles or troubles at all.

    Reinstall Win 10 with COA for refurbished computer

    My refurbished Win 10 computer's hard drive failed and wouldn't boot. I have another hard drive that is formatted for windows. I have a Win 10 COA for the refurbished computer. Do I have to purchase a new copy of Win 10 or can I use the COA. If so,
    how do I do it?

    Hi,

    I purchased a refurbished computer for my daughter from Walmart.com

    She is trying to upgrade to Windows 10, but it keeps saying "This product key didn't work" but it is the exact product key from the sticker.

    Any suggestions?
