    Unwanted antivirus pop up ads, do I really need another antivirus protection?


    I have Microsoft Edge on Windows 10. I have the Webroot, and also the Windows Defender which came with the pc.However, I keep getting annoying pop up adds for McAfee and for Norton Antivirus.It seems that the McAfee is located, and installed on my pc when I look at the listings that come up on the start menu.As for the Norton, I don't see anything there as it being installed on my pc. But the notification for this keeps saying to turn this on as well to activate it.Microsoft Edge keeps sending me notifications to turn on my windows protection, but it is already on.

    Again, there is no "Pro" if it is your phone. It is just Windows 7 Phone. Anything to do with "Pro" leads to the belief that your using a computer with Windows 7 Professional as your operating system. As Prof Julie states. There is really no need for antivirus
    for you phone but if your referring to your home computer operating system whether it is a desktop or a laptop, then YES, you need a good, quality virus protection software installed. I would suggest Kaspersky.

    Hi Everyone,

    I have windows 10 installed on both my laptops. Is windows defender an antivirus. Should I download a free antivirus program from the internet such as AVG free or MacAfee free? Are they safe? How can I protect my laptops from Virus and Malware?
    Any suggestions? Please reply.
