Windows 10: Unwanted install of Windows 10

I recently bought my third Windows 10 device, let's call them Dev1, Dev2 and Dev3. They each have separate Passwords, let's call them PW1, PW2 and PW3. I use PW2 whenever I need to access anything on the Microsoft site that is password protected as PW1 and PW3 are not recognized.


Today, I started up DEV3 and expected it come out of the sleep mode. Instead it started what looks like new Windows install and would only accept PW2. After the install completed and performed a Restart. PW3 was again not recognized and I had to use PW2.


I bought this PC specifically to start work on a fairly large data and image database and had completed probably about 20%. Now, with today's shenanigans, I can't access this database.


Can anyone please advise as to how I can retrieve this file? I suspect it is lying buried somewhere since applications such as Foxfire and OpenOffice which I had previously installed, still come up on the desktop.

Incidentally, when I access https://account.microsoft.com/devices/, it does not list Dev1. I presume that this is because of the age of this device -about 12 years old. Also, it appears that you can only have one OneDrive account. Does this mean that the capacity of the free OneDrive increases with each additional copy of Windows?

Fresh install, upgrade... doesn't matter. This is a feature of Windows 10 unfortunately... They periodically install apps that they want to promote.

windows xp installation and dual core am

could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx
