Unwanted Password Only Network Added to my Laptop

My husband installed some spyware on my laptop. I noticed today that he has added his "network" to my computer. I tried to remove it, but I have to have his credentials to remove it...what can I do to get it off?

How can I find the password for my Windows 10 laptop?

I found a solution to my problem. What I did was:
    1. Open Network & Sharing Center on the laptop.
    2. Click "Change advanced sharing settings"
    3. Expand the "All Networks" item.
    4. Change "Password protected sharing" from On to Off.

Now when I click my laptop name in File Explorer > Networks, it just shows my shared folder without asking for a network credentials password. This is how it used to work before.

    Hope this helps others,

I added a password to my home network and now laptop disconnects from Wi-Fi

I own an Acer Aspire V3 laptop and upgraded to Windows 10 last year and so far have had no problems with it.

Recently though, I added a password to my wi-fi network and I use an ZyXEL p-320w router. After adding the password, all devices worked properly except for my laptop - it is now registering my network as Public and I have tried reading all forums and fixes
    but:

    • Wi-Fi only connects once a day for a few minutes up til half an hour
    • The network is still marked as Public and I don't know how to change it

    Any help would be appreciated!

Laptop won't show list of available networks

We suggest checking the list of available Wi-Fi networks on your laptop.

    Please follow these steps:

    • Click the Windows logo.
    • Go to Settings (gear icon).
    • Select Network and Internet.
    • Then Wi-Fi.
    • Make sure the Wi-Fi radio button is On.
    • Select Show available networks, then you'll be able to see the list of available Wi-Fi networks.

Update us with the outcome so we provide further assistance.
