Why one one my pictures, I was working with in 'Photo App.'found its way partly over my W10 welcome screen before password field is initiated?

I'm using Chrome on my pc.

So when my pc wakes up or its screen I see that picture almost covering the normal welcome screen. If I click Enter I then get the PW field as usual.

All I was doing was browsing through folders of photos on one screen and and 'Photo App.' on full screen on the other. And it is one of these picture that somehow shows up.

I chose the screen saver category but not sure what is the appropriate category for this problem

I'm also curious to know why "Apps and Gamming on Windows 10" are a choice under "Windows Version"

    :)

  2. Unwanted picture on startup

    Hi Mike,

That picture appears because the locks screen background photo upon sign-in screen is turned On.

To deactivate the feature, please follow these steps:

    • Click on the Windows button.
    • Go to Settings.
    • Click Personalization.
    • Click on Lock screen, located on the left part of the screen.
    • At the bottom part of the screen, look for Show lock screen background picture on the sign-in screen.
    • Tick the radio button from On to Off.

Feel free to post back if you have other concerns.

Quick Access not searching Pictures folder

Summary, that last suggestion didn't work.

    • I moved the pictures to another folder temporarily.

    • Since there were no troubleshooting steps for this scenario, just for the heck of it, I ran through the restore steps. Copied some pictures into the Pictures folder, ran a Quick Access search and initial problem remains: Searching all of QA doesn't find any files in Pictures folder, running search on just the Pictures folder does. I want to run a global search and find matching files in any/all of the Documents, Music, Videos, and Pictures folders.
That article dates from 2015 and I'm guessing is out of date. I hope it didn't create potential future problems in my registry.

Bottom line: I'm still looking for a fix.

    AMD FX OC'ers Club

That's what the auto setting will do since you're over the 1333 mark it jumps to the next step which isn't listed or officially supported I assume by that ram.

At this point though I would suggest dropping the multi one step or .5 so that we can get something stable and possibly take the heat issue out of the picture for now.
