    laptop is missing "scan with windows defender" context menu entry

    If you have a 3rd party AV program installed, it may disable Windows Defender causing the context menu to no longer be there as well.

    If you don't, then you could see if using step 2 in the tutorial below may restore the context menu.

    When you right-click on an image file, you will see the item "Set as desktop background", which does not exist in Registry either.
