  1. Update 13february2024 22h2 KB5034765 Creates CPU 100% consumption

Hello. After I installed the latest KB5034765 and restart it, when the PC restart immediately starts to consume almost all the time 100% of CPU.The CPU consumption decrease for a while, but as soon as I start any program, like visual studio 2022, SQL, Edge the cpu goes to 100% and makes impossible to work.Acts like a virus, but Defender has no detect any thing. I did a register restored but the problem continues.

  2. Windows 10 frezes constantly after 22H2 update by "System interrupts" at 100% CPU

Recently, I have upgraded my PC from the 2020 update to the 22H2 update, and as soon as I finally updated, I started to notice some issues that it costantly freezes for a few seconds and comes back to normal. I noticed it's because the "System interrupts" process is way at 100% in CPU when it completely freezes for a few seconds and then comes back to normal. Any idea why is it doing that? I thought I'd cleaned up and dusted off all the computer componets, even the CPU to no avail. Even at startup, it seems to studder when it boots up in the new update. It is very annoying when it does that, and back when I had the 2020 update, everything was fine, but updated to the 22H2 update, everything just freezes! even as I type, the whole thing FREEZES for several seconds because the "System Interrupts" is way at 100% CPU.

  3. 100% disk consumption

    Hi Mohammad,

Welcome to Microsoft Community. Your interest in Windows 10 is much appreciated.

I can imagine the inconvenience you have experienced. I will definitely help you with this.

You have mentioned that whenever you start or restart your computer, the "Service host: local service (net restricted)" uses 70% to 98% CPU usage making the computer very slow. I would like to have additional information for better understanding.

    • Have you made any recent changes on the computer prior to this issue?
    • Does this happen immediately after you boot the computer?

This might be caused due to conflicting software in the computer. This might also happen when there are too many unnecessary startup items in the computer.

Perhaps, this issue might be resolved by performing the System Maintenance troubleshooter on the computer. So, let’s try that out and check the issue.

Method 1: Run a System Maintenance Troubleshooter

I would suggest you to run the System Maintenance troubleshooter and check if that help. Follow these steps:

    • Press “Windows Logo” keys from the keyboard.
    • Type “Troubleshooting” in the search bar and press “Enter”.
    • In the “Troubleshooting” window, click on “View All” on the left pane.
    • Click on “System Maintenance”.
    • Click on “Advanced” and then click on “Run as Administrator”.
    • Click “Next” and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the troubleshooting process.

Check if the issue still persists. If it’s not resolved, then it might be due to some other reasons which the troubleshooter was not able to detect and fix. I would suggest you to continue with the next method.

Method 2: Check the issue in Safe Mode and then perform a Clean Boot.

Step 1: Boot the computer in Safe Mode and check if the issue persists.

In Windows, we can start the computer in different advanced troubleshooting modes to find and fix problems on the PC. One of such troubleshooting mode is Safe Mode with Networking. Here we start Windows with a minimal set of drivers and services including
the network drivers and services needed to access the Internet or other computers on your network.

To enter into Safe Mode in Windows 10, follow the steps given below.

    • Restart your PC.
    • Press Shift + F8 before the Windows logo appears.
    • Click See Advanced Repair Options.
    • Click Troubleshoot.
    • Click Advanced Options.
    • Click Windows Startup Settings.
    • Click Restart.
    • You then see a list where you can choose Safe Mode or
      Safe Mode with Networking
(depending on whether you think you’ll need the Internet)

If the issue does not occur in safe mode, then you may perform a clean boot on the computer to check if the issue is caused by any software conflicts. This might resolve the issue.

Step 2: Perform a Clean Boot and find out which application/service is causing this issue.

A clean boot helps to eliminate software conflicts and to determine what is causing the problem. Perform a clean boot on the computer by following the steps given in the link:

    http://support.microsoft.com/kb/929135

Follow all the steps given in this link and try to figure out the application or service causing this issue.

Note: After you have finished troubleshooting, follow the “Step 3: Reset the computer to start as usual” under Windows 8 to reset the computer to start as usual from the above link.

Keep us posted if you face any issues on windows in future. We will be glad to help you.
