Windows 10: Update 1809 downloads but install does not start on restart

Lenovo Yoga 910 I7 x64 with Win 10 1803


Ran updates today. Win 10 1809 was downloaded.


In View Update History it indicates it was downloaded and waiting for a restart.


$Windows.~BT created today exist on the C: drive


I have done 2 restarts and it has not started to install. Why?


Do I have to manually run setup in $Windows.~BT?

Hi dalchina. Good news, I followed your suggestion and reinstalled the update and now it appears as "installed correctly" *Biggrin Maybe it was not necessary to run the Windows Update Troubleshooter or maybe if necessary. But using it I do not think it could have worsened something. The installation was very fast, unlike the first time it showed step 1 and step 2 completed.

Insurgency wont install and run for me....

I have played and have fully updated CS and Half life 2....
I am using the newest client and installed the SDK.

I am completely blown away, if i click the desktop icon it starts the sdk and then closes, and it doesn't show up in my game list...

First mod attempt install here, followed the directions step by step on the mods website...

Any ideas?

The tutorials provided are just a list of troubleshooting steps. Use only the steps which apply to you.

Since none of the troubleshooting steps here worked, I'd suggest you do a Clean install.
