Windows 10: Update 1909 would not install. System reboots at 30% of the installation with 0xc000021a error.

I am having an issue with the latest update for my new PC. I've got the computer more less 3 weeks ago and haven't got any problems with updating it so far.


Now around 8-9th of September there was the 1909 update available. I tried installing it, but as the installation reaches 30% the PC restarts immediately, and displays bsod with error 0xc000021a.


I can reboot the PC, it'll display the same error again, but on the next reboot it will attempt to reverse the update and boot normally. The update is not installed. System would then attempt to install the update again in few hours, and the result is the same.


What can I do to avoid this error?

Here's what I've tried so far:

Deleting update cache windows folder > software distribution

Windows troubleshooting finds nothing.

Error 0xc000021a fter installing the latest firmware surface 2

Hi, today - after installing a firmware upgrade for windows10 on my surface 2 and a first successful reboot - I checked again for updates and found a new one that failed to install (didn't write down the error code, there was no specific explanation).

After a second shutdown I've got a 0xc00021a on reboot.

I don't have a backup or a restore point. I then followed the suggested steps to troubleshoot this error. I tried the "verify.exe" utility for drivers, which did not help.

I tried the Windows Settings "Troubleshoot" options: "Reboot" and "Safe mode with network", then I tried to "Disable driver signature enforcement" with no luck (same error).

Then I tried to reset the system from a Windows 10 USB installation, with the option "keep my files", but, surprisingly, I got the same error again and the process rolled back.

I really appreciate any help to solve this problem!

Windws error "stop code: 0xc000021a after reboot

In preperation to install latest version of office pro I removed office 2010. The system required a reboot to complete the operation, however, it failed with the error message stop code 0xc000021a. I can boot to a command prompt but that is all. I have
tried dism.exe with sveral options listed in community search but this also fails.

 

Latest win10 Update 1803 cant install?

I am having a issue with this update,. I fallow the steps via windows update, DL the update, shows install. ask me to reboot pc. after reboot its start the update install pc reboot several times. On the last time, I get a message saying" Restoring windows to previous version". Then it takes me back to windows, and i get a message update could not be installed.
In windows update-control panel it shows update waiting for reboot. i click on it and does same thing. after install it restore to previous version. what is going on?
I have disable windows firewall for time being.
