Windows 10: update and security in 'settings' not working. W10

In 'Settings' the UPDATE AND SECURITY section does not work. I have looked at the methods suggested in the forum and tried the Microsoft troubleshooter but that fails and not then tell me what to do next. Has any one solved this problem?

That made me so facepalm. Some people have absolutely no clue. I hope they don't take you for granted with all this you're doing for them.

SonicWall is a good security product, so Mindweaver's suggestion sounds like a good one and should make for a rather bigger baby step. Let's hope they take it.

 

AMD FX OC'ers Club

That's what the auto setting will do since you're over the 1333 mark it jumps to the next step which isn't listed or officially supported I assume by that ram.

At this point though I would suggest dropping the multi one step or .5 so that we can get something stable and possibly take the heat issue out of the picture for now.
