    update automation (1803 -> 1903)


    hi! at work there was a need to automate the update Windows 10 1803 to 1903. automation should be maximized by pressing a single button. decided to write powershell script. use the pswindowsupdate module. this works like a charm. BUT! only 2 updates are available. how do I get cumulative updates? is there another way to remotely update? (Pro wsus know). Why only 2 updates?

    When in win10:
    • Update&security -> Windows update -> Finding update... .... .... ....
    Planning to download the latest Win10.ISO (vers.1803) and manually update:
    - Then wait that my ordered new SSD arrives and clone the old HDD to it.

    I am Sumit, an Independent Advisor and a 2-Year Windows Insider MVP here to help.

    Windows 10 1903 is in beta and is a bit unstable as of now. We do not recommend installing it in your primary computer as it can cause issues.

    However, if you have a spare computer you can join the Insider Program and get 1903.
