Windows 10: Update Available: Update Pending won't download

I have a Dell Inspiron 17 5000 Series. I have windows 10 Home 22h2 64 Bit. I have 3 Window updates that won't install and keeps reading pending update, even after hitting the update button. The 3 updates are: Dell, Inc. - Firmware - 0.1.10.0; Intel - SoftwareComponent - 1.41.2021.121; and Intel - SoftwareComponent - 1.63.1155.1. I have tried a lot of "solutions" and none are working. I have run one solution, that eliminates them temporarily, but when I run windows update again, they return and won't download. I have tried running Dell diagnostics, I have tried running Dell Update software. Not

Vista x64 won't download updates?

The last updates on my home desktop are dated 16th June.
I've powered it on some 3 or 4 times since then, but nothing was downloaded automatically as per settings.

I tried the manual update from the CP but I get an error code 80070002.

I did the troubleshooting suggested (i.e. stop the Windows Update service, delete the temporary update files, restart the Windows Update service, and then try to check for Windows updates again) but I still keep getting the same error code, even after rebooting *Confused

What gives?

 

Available updates to download, stay on "Pending Download"

The list of available downloads keeps growing, as they all stay on "Pending Download".

Steps I have taken so far

- Deleted the content of C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution and performed a reboot.

- Performed the following actions and rebooted

1. net stop wuauserv
   
2. net stop cryptSvc
   
3. net stop bits
   
4. net stop msiserver
   
5. ren C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution SoftwareDistribution.old
   
6. ren C:\Windows\System32\catroot2 catroot2.old
   
7. net start wuauserv
   
8. net start cryptSvc
   
9. net start bits
   
10. net start msiserver
    

- I ran the Windows Update Troubleshooter

 

Windows 10 Creators Update Available for Download

Not sure about the games you listed but no probs with Dirt Rally and benching heavensward-bench here for me. I'm going to test 3DMark too in a few minutes.
