Windows 10: Update Caused "Intel Wireless Bluetooth" to Constantly Disconnect

This took me a long time to pin down but after updating to 1903 I started having a lot of issues, so I updated to 1909 and then to 2004 with no success. The long and short of it is that Intel Wireless Bluetooth has started causing an infinite loop of connecting and disconnecting so I hear the USB disconnect sound like a regular heart beat and the device manager is constantly refreshing. When I disabled it, everything was fine again.

Now my problem is that I regularly use my bluetooth. I tried updating the drivers for it specifically but it isn't helping. I was thinking maybe uninstalling it completely might help, but if I uninstall it, how would I get it back?

Sorry if this is a commonly known thing, I can't figure out how to phrase this so google can help me...

Wireless constantly disconnects when downloading

Hello guys,

My wireless connection constantly disconnects when I download something (steam, torrent, something via web browsers or something else)
My router is NETGEAR WGR614v9. It seems like it disconnects only when downloading something.

Its firmware version is 1.0.9_1.0.2. It seems pretty old. If I update the firmware, does it fix my problem?

 

Mouse constantly disconnects after not being used for a while

Hi,

I have a problem with my Microsoft Modern Mouse constantly disconnecting after few seconds of not being used. It's distracting and seriously messing with my workflow.

At the moment I've followed the steps to prevent windows from turning it off:

1. Enabled automatic Bluetooth Support services in services.msc

2. In device manager disabled power management (both human interfaces and bluetooth devices)

3. Updated to latest intel wireless drivers that the automatic detector suggested

4. Kept windows up to date, including security updates

At the moment I'm at a loss as to what else there is to change apart from messing with registries which I'm unfamiliar with.

Thank you for sharing all the steps you have performed in order to fix the concern with Bluetooth driver.

This issue may have been caused by some changes made in your computer. We'd like to know if you recently install any updates before the issue started and have you also tried rolling back the driver instead of using the latest driver? You may checked this
