Windows 10: Update Drivers hangs with "Installing drivers..." phase.

I was trying to update display adapter driver(AMD Radeon(TM) Vega 8 Graphics). It am at a point where "Update Drivers" dialog shows "Installing drivers..." message along with a progress indicator continuously moving. It's been at this point for the last 3 hours, and I have no idea when it will finish. If I try to cancel by clicking the 'X' at right upper corner, I get this warning(see image below) which forces me to wait :




What is my option here? Wait without knowing how long? Or kill the process risking driver corruption?

I will appreciate any help.

Driver Update/install

Ok, so let me get the basics down first.

1st delete the old driver(software or one by one)
2nd Install new drivers from download
3rd test new drivers

Reboot after steps 1 & 2?

 

Windows 7 wont install drivers

i dont think anyone here understands what your asking either when its nearly a 90% english dominated Tech forum.
Step 1
reinstall windows from scratch
Step 2
install all drivers from the cd that came with the god damn motherboard *common sense*
Step 3
update windows
Step 4
install misc etc crap like flash java etc etc
Step 5
Install GPU drivers
Step 6
go back to using your pc without issue.

If you having an issue installing a driver that worked before you formatted or wont install on a fresh build, sometimes this means hardware damage
