Windows 10: Update error 0x80070643 - when trying to "update" Windows Desktop Runtime 5.0.11 to 5.0.10

But this is really ridiculous: I am continually getting an error from Windows Update for KB5006192.So. I downloaded it manually and tried to install this "Windows Desktop Runtime 5.0.10".However, I am informed that "another version" of this software were already installed, and I should uninstall it first.Looking into Control Panel, I see that "Windows Desktop Runtime 5.0.11" is already on my system.On the other hand, my Windows Update keeps trying to install version 5.0.10 and thus keeps crashing...Update: Even after manually uninstalled 5.0.11, my Windows Update crashes when trying to install

Runtime Error 5

Hi Guys, Can anyone please help me out, I am a bit of a novice when computer plays up, I am trying to update some data for a karaoke program i have installed, The data downloads to desktop but when i try to install from within the program i get the following error displays



Runtime error 5 invalid procedure call or argument, Can someone help me to sort this out,

I am using windows 10 pro

Nokia x2-01:

a pop-up that reads "error: 0×5" randomly appears on screen anytime, which prevents the automatic keyguard and also comes while playing games. Also it comes with light which is reducing the battery life. software is updated.

using since one year.

Help will be appreciated.

Error: ucrtbase.terminate not located in the dynamic link library api-ms-win-crt-runtime-l1-1-0.dll

Open elevated cmd.
Type the following command: regsvr32 /u api-ms-win-crt-runtime-l1-1-0.dll.
Type the following command: regsvr32 /i api-ms-win-crt-runtime-l1-1-0.dll.
Close cmd. Shut down. Restart.

That being said, I also did a registry cleaning, and it also had a pending update that went through that was apparently awaiting a full shut down. It might very well have just been that.

Microsoft can nudge all they want, I'm keeping this older model laptop on 7, it's not powerful enough for the bloat of 10. I was very near to running a sfc scan (I was going to make that my last thing to set it to do before retiring to bed for the night) and then putting the windows disc in and repairing the install like you suggested tomorrow if the sfc repair didn't work.
