Windows 10: Update error

Hi

I have W10 Pro fully updated on this machine.

Windows Update is showing "Error Encountered" then this message

"A current driver on your PC may be better than the driver we're
trying to install. We'll keep trying to install"

I have tried to run update a few times and while any new updates
are installing the message keeps coming up.

I have no idea which driver is involved and clearly if the installed
driver is better I don't want to install it anyway but I do want to stop
trying and to get rid of the message.

I have checked Installed Updates, including Drivers but none
are showing as Failed to Install.

What do I do to stop the installation attempt and get rid of the message.

Any advice or comments appreciated.

A simple solution but one that works in most circumstances!

1. Click Start, click Run, type services.msc, and then click OK.

2. In the list of services, right-click Automatic Updates, and then click Properties.

3. In the Startup type list, click Automatic, and then click Apply.

4. If Service status is set to Stopped, click Start, and then click OK.

5. Right-click Background Intelligent Transfer Service, and then click Properties.

6. In the Startup type list, click Manual, and then click Apply.

7. If Service status is set to Stopped, click Start, and then click OK.

^ what they said will both work. i suggest updating directX, and in the future please try and list the exact error message... and i want a muffin.
