Windows 10: Update Errors

My Alienware 51m Laptop has been having an issue relating to the Windows Update service. The exact error reads, "We couldn't connect to the update service. We'll try again later, or you can check now. If it still doesn't work, make sure you're connected to the Internet." I have tried every fix I saw online, from resetting DNS to scanning my C drive. Lately, I have both reset my computer to factory default and reinstalled Windows. The latter I did for the main issue, but I originally reset my computer to factory settings because I could not log in this issue has been fixed. My favorite g

A simple solution but one that works in most circumstances!

1. Click Start, click Run, type services.msc, and then click OK.

2. In the list of services, right-click Automatic Updates, and then click Properties.

3. In the Startup type list, click Automatic, and then click Apply.

4. If Service status is set to Stopped, click Start, and then click OK.

5. Right-click Background Intelligent Transfer Service, and then click Properties.

6. In the Startup type list, click Manual, and then click Apply.

7. If Service status is set to Stopped, click Start, and then click OK.
