Windows 10: Update Fail - fbl_impressive Professional 10122 - Error 0x8024402c

Getting Error 0x8024402c when trying to update to TP 10122. Happens after about 5% completed. Tried restarting, different internet, the basics.

Any suggestions?

Can't open anything with a left click, aloso many other issues on Build 10122

Right now it is stuck on trying to download 10130

• fbl_impressive Professional 10130 - Error 0x80246017

Any help on getting around this and going straight to 10158

I am getting this eror when trying to upgrade to the new build:

Any idea to fix this?

currently I am using build 10130.

 

Have you tried the WU troubleshooter?

Edit: Temporary connection-related errors may occur when you use Windows Update or Microsoft Update

 

this troubleshooter does not run with Windows 10.

 

Perhaps not on your version, but it runs fine on 10122 because I tried it before I linked it.

 

maybe I should run the right one.....

Did this, found problem, not resolved "Service registration is missing or corrupt - Not Fixed"

Have you tried the SFC command?

 

Yes I did, everything checks out there. When are they releasing 10122 iso?

 

When it goes to the slow ring. Is your .esd file downloaded and it won't install?

 

I keep restarting the update... this time has progressed to 88% so far.. will update if it goes through.

 

Need to be patient- it can sometimes take quite a while. Sounds like the .esd file has downloaded and you can always create an ISO to install if that's the case.

 

Try Troubleshooting in Control panle ... there's a troubleshooter for Windows Update listed under System and Security.

You might want to check your Internet options in Control panel to see what your proxy setting is.
click the connections tab
click the LAN settings
select autodetect




Do you have enough space on your drive?, the ESD is less than 3 GB. A full install takes up less than 10 GB - this deos not include your favorite programs, only the OS.

The last thing I can think of is to launch and elevated Command prompt and enter the following command

Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth

There is a space before each slash /
It takes a while ~20 minutes.

 

Had to do it two more times, eventually got it going! Thanks guys!
