Windows 10: Update failed yet I'm told I'm up to date

Today's system info:Edition Windows 11 Home Version 21H2 Installed on 2021-11-04 OS build 22000.1335 Windows Feature Experience Pack 1000.22000.1335.0Yesterday 22-12-21, I attempted to update windows 11 home I had a feature update showing as available. It got to 64% then froze, so eventually I rebooted and successfully logged in to windows, but with a message that update was unsuccessful.Today, that available update is gone. I checked update history and it shows no updating has been done since:Feature update to Windows 10, version 21 HI Successfully installed on 2021-10-06andQuality update

M-Audio M-Track 2x2 Not Recognized by my computer.

We appreciate the research and troubleshooting you have done, this issue could be from the software end or from the hardware itself.



Please try few of the troubleshooting below to further eliminate the root cause of the issue.

1. Try to connect the device with a different USB and check if that helps.
   
2. Connect the M-track to different computer and check if you still face the issue there, if the issue persists, it could be caused by hardware.
   

Method 1:

1. Press Windows + R key on your keyboard together, and type
   control printers.
   
2. You will see list of all the devices and printers connected to your computer.
   
3. Click on Add a device and follow the onscreen instruction and add your device.
   

Method 2:

1. Uninstall
   all the M-Track drivers from device manager.
   
2. Reboot the computer and check.
   

Method 3:



I suggest you login to the manufacturer site,
download the drivers for your registered device and
install it.



If you still face the issue, I suggest you to get in touch with the
manufacturer and get the hardware checked once.

Issues with Radeon 7400 M graphics in windows 10

Hi Praveen,

Thanks for the post. The problem seems to be from Microsoft . I have followed below steps

• I have downloaded the software Leshcat’s Catalyst 15.7 WHQL UnifL from Most Popular Parts
• I have unistalled all my graphics softwares and drivers related to radeon 7400 M.
  
• The Catalyst 15.7 WHQL UnifL contains both intel and radeon drivers. So install intel drivers and reboot.
• install radeon drivers and reboot.

Now my system seems to be perfectly fine and no issues with drivers. Booting normally with out any issues. I turned on windows update and 7400 M drivers automatically installed from Microsoft.

After the reboot again the same problem. Now I am not sure how can I disable to download only 7400 M updates keeping all other updates on.

kindly suggest.

 

Updates/Repairs All FAIL - Punk'd by M$??

Feels like I'm constantly being punk'd by M$*

1) Pestered about 4 "important" roll-up Updates ... ALL of which persistently FAIL?!

2) Update Troubleshooter consistently FAILS, with Error codes; Clicking Error links prompts "Nothing found...Check your spelling" Huh?? Someone at M$ created these Error codes, right?

3) Re-run Troubleshooter & Updates then magically reports "only 1 'important' Update outstanding" (a lie - all 4 Failed return later)

4) PC now behaving as if someone (M$ ?) poured a pint of molasses into the works

5) sfc / scannow reports "everything's OK, No problems here, boss!" (Actually - typically arcane
no integrity violations or some such) Meanwhile, persistently unable to install/update
M$ .Net Runtime (& software dependent on Runtime)

6) DISM falls on its face consistently at 40% Gotta love flakey "repair" tools!! Another diagnostic reports "files missing"

7) And, yes, the requisite AV scans have been done - all report Nada! In horror movie parlance: "The call is coming from inside the house!"

8) Pro sites say Restore from Install media. What media? This was web-based Upgrade from Win 7. Oh - and exactly Where is
recovery partition? - a logical "must" with web-based Upgrade & no physical media

9) Please, no glib just switch to Win 10. I still use WMC - which M$ abandoned in Win 10 - AFAIK to avoid having to maintain EPG (program guide.

Real-world suggestions ... anyone??
