Question about this failed update, the result i cant go into folder, cant click folder as it will create window explorer suspended in task manager. I restart & run new task for it but still cant enter all folders in my hard disk. I tried to open online game. i have Shooterspool online but the result not good as when i enter server, it reject me into desktop.


Then i think it might be a virus, as i cant enter folder, i also cant enter control panel, cant enter anything related to entering folder'panels & etc. I can still browse googles without any problems instead.


After that i tried to use my old window 7 hard disk as a dummy then use my latest problem hard disk as above as second hard disk. Weird thing is i can open the folders from window 10 hard disk when i use my old window 7 hdd as main window. Without any problems. So thats not make any sense if its a virus.


So here i am now asking, i cant send screenshots as it will go into picture folders, cant even enter folders. Any clue what happen to my window?

When you finish testing the Avast suggestion, make sure that you restart your machine.

Then if the issue persists, please return to the trouble shooting list in post# 89

I think there are three steps that remain; the WU troubleshooter, reset WU components, and manual WU reset.

 

KB4025339 Fails Install 0x80070564

I am trying Eagle 51's suggestions now. Windows Update troubleshooter found a bunch of errors and fixed all but one.The update is trying to download KB4025339 again. I'll see what happens. At step one troubleshooter finishes with one error unresolved "Potential Windows Update Database Error Detected-Not Fixed". Windows update stalled at 0%.

At step 2 same troubleshooter error. The KB finished a new download failed to install.
Did step 3 KB has downloaded but fails to install.

If Eagle's suggestion doesn't work I'll try EdTittel's suggestion

Tried bothe Eagle & Ed 's suggestions - do not work. Anyone else?

I have noticed that the latest update for my nvidia drivers has failed to update. Wondering about that!

 

Windows Updates failed to instal

I just did step one and they have just all installed.... thank you so much.... it was quite frustrating having that update window pop up every 5 minutes and failing to instal every time
