Windows 10: Update for Groove Music

An update for #GrooveMusic for #Windows10 desktop just hit the store. No UI changes, just a fix for a crash.

I'm still waiting for a decent update to the iOS version. If something came out that was more stable and where you could actually scrub through the songs I'd probably switch from Spotify to it.

Cortana Groove music stopped working with Fall Creators update

Hi,

This may have been caused by an altered setup during the Fall Creator's Update. Please check
Play music in the Groove app on Windows 10 to follow the steps to play music using Groove app.
For more information in setting up Groove Music you may also check Groove Music help.

Post back with an updated status of this issue if you still cannot play Groove Music using Cortana after the setup or if you will be needing further assistance.

 

album art and music file info (meta data) of music files downloaded from mix radio are missing in groove music

I recently updated my lumia to windows 10 mobile and the old music player got updated to groove music, since then the music files i had downloaded from mix radio which were working perfect with all music info and album art(metadata) in lumia's old music
player are now missing in 'groove music' ...Now All music files downloaded from mix radio are listed in groove music as 'Unknown Albums'. Kindly help
