Windows 10: Update from 1809 to 1909 with not enough hard drive space but external SD card available

My ASUS T100 has Win 10 - 1809 installed and cannot upgrade to 1909 because of insufficient HD space ..... Help

Can I transfer space from my external hard drive to my microSD card?

If that is the case, you can just create a new folder on your External hard drive and copy that data from the Micro-SD card in to the new folder on the external hard drive.

Once that data has copied over to the external hard drive, you can just delete that data from the Micro-SD Card and then you are free to use the space on that card again

If you have any problem transferring that data, please let me know . . .

 

Windows 10 1909 Causes Secondary Hard Drive to not be Recognized

Installing the Windows 10 1909 Update causes my secondary hard drive to not be recognized.

Steps to confirm issue:

• Secondary drive not visible in Windows Explorer
• Secondary drive not visible in device manager
• Secondary drive not visible in disk manager

Steps to replicate issue:

• Installing 1909 update

Steps to resolve issue:

• Uninstall 1909 update

Since updates can only be delayed for so long, an actual fix would be appreciated.

 

External drive doesn’t show sd card

I have a problem with sd card because I can see it in the File Explorer but cannot see it in the external drive drop down list. I use Nuvision tablet, sd card is a 16 GB one
