Windows 10: Update from GitHub in startup..?

Discus and support Update from GitHub in startup..? in Windows 10 Ask Insider to solve the problem; I opened task manager to see “update” and the publisher is GitHub on the startup bar in task manager.     Update from GitHub in startup..?


    I opened task manager to see “update” and the publisher is GitHub on the startup bar in task manager. This isn’t malware since I have Malwarebytes premium, but I just was wondering what it is or if I should be worried about it. Thanks.

    Okaaaayyyy.... Maybe we should start making a list of alternatives to GitHub?

    Also, GitHub is a private company, but who owns it? Who gets money from this move?

    Get rid of Feedback Hub in favor of Github

    Microsoft recently purchased Github. Feedback Hub is kind of, well, bad in terms of features. I suggest the Feedback Hub be dissolved and the important features added to Github. Feedback should be Github Issues which are far superior for comments, editability,
    archiving, etc. Make the Feedback Hub in windows a hyperlink to Github.

    I made this an issue in the Feedback Hub, but who knows who's actually going to see it there. And that's the real issue with Feedback Hub, duplicate issues, comments are rarely left, and it's hard to get an idea of how many people are really agreeing with
    an issue or suggestion.
