    So I was looking into checking what build my PC was running . I suspected it was somewhat an older build . I then checked and saw I was right . I was running Build 1709 of Windows 10 . I got the Build 1909.iso and proceeded with attempting to update to it . Left my pc to update , and I come back and it’s stuck at 88% , I think maybe it was just processing , but came back again hours later , stuck still . So even though it’s warned not to do , I restarted my PC , and it restored it . I tried updating again , it went past 88% but was left at a black screen showing the mouse cursor . What’s not allowing Windows to properly update , and making it freeze and black screen ??? If I may add , I also can’t open the Photos app if I double click a picture to open it , it crashes the app .. Please assist me

    Windows 10 stuck at black screen


    hi, i tried upgrading my windows 7, but failed 5 times.
    step 1 on copying files are 100%
    step 2 installing features n updates are 100%
    step 3 FAILED, it stuck on black screen and freeze, nothing i can do besides force restart and its restored to my windows 7 back.

    any idea how to solve this? it's always stuck at 75% step 2 and when go to step 3 is freeze ( 5 times in row, i'm thinking give up or buy new laptop with windows 10*Biggrin*Biggrin*Biggrin)

    p.s i'm currently downloading ISO file to blank DVD hopefully it's worksUpdate gets stuck at 88% and freezes , or goes to a black screen showing the mouse , but... :)
