Windows 10: Update install error 0x80070032 for Win 11 10.0.26120.3950

Hey Microsoft Community!I am getting 0x80070032 when I attempt to install this preview build. I have tried running the Windows update troubleshooter, but this did not resolve the issue. Any advice is appreciated. I suspect this may have something to do with the formatting of my drives. I am running two mirrored 2 GB SSDs formatted as NTFS/GPT. I have over a TB of storage in those drives, so it is not a capacity issue.

Error 0x80070032 may occur if the Component-Based Servicing (CBS) manifest is corrupted. Component-Based Servicing (CBS) is a set of files and resources that are required to service a Windows image or operating system.

Meanwhile, I suggest that you run the Windows Update troubleshooter. When you try to install the latest updates from Windows Update, you will sometimes receive an error message. The Windows Update Troubleshooter resolves many of these errors. Follow these
steps to run the troubleshooter:

• Open Control Panel.
• Select View by: Small icons.
• Open Troubleshooting.
• Under System and Security, select Windows Update.
• Follow the on-screen instruction.

The update for 1703 worked but 1709 keeps failing : Feature update to Windows 10, version 1709 - Error 0x80070032. Any suggestions?

• Can you please tell us what you mean by "I have updated the fix"? What is the specific troubleshooting steps you've performed?
• What was the update that you're installing before encountering the issue? Were you able to install the update now?
