Well, Anil.... I think he means that he has already downloaded Windows 10, and it's just that he has failed to update like me (downloading updates 0%?!) It's always stuck at 0% and I can't seem to update anything, from KB3074678 to KB3074686 and my graphic
drivers and all those jazz.... help!

 

Update for Windows 10 for x64-based Systems (KB3074678) - Error 0x80004005

I am having the same issue here.

I upgraded from 8.1 to 10, and my Update says that there are 3 updates ready to download (KB3074678, KB3074686, and Synaptics driver update for Synaptics PS/2 Port TouchPad).

Update has been hanging at 0% for days now.

I know, however, that it can download other updates, as there were a few it downloaded last night, and it installed them correctly. But when I went in to see if there were any new updates this morning, these same three were sitting there, waiting for me.

 

With Notebooks the tendency is to use Wi-Fi but after Upgrading the 6th machine [completed today] I've come to the conclusion that things just plain work better using an Ethernet connection to the Router. I've done 2 Desktops, 1 Tablet and 3 Notebooks so far. Also involved could be the Wi-Fi needs newer drivers to function more reliably but that comes after Win10 gets installed, found that to be an issue on a Dell Inspiron and will be checking another shortly.

 

Thank Berton, keep me posted. Didnt think that because I am downloading updates over WiFi, it would be a problem. Never heard of that one....
