Windows 10: Update kb4517211 breaks cortona

After update with kb4517211 my printer spooler, display available network, volume control, pdf, search box and cortana and a couple other things stopped working. I decided to uninstall that update and all functions came back except search box and cortana. Under powershell I tried re-register cortona with that long command, Get-AppXPackage........., I also tried sfc, dism, . Also cortana does not show up in task manager. Search services is running. Please help. I am more concere about search working but I think search box and cortana work together. HELP!!! What I mean about search not working is I can't type any thing in the search box.

Same here...the previous cumulative update didn't break Cortana and the search box...but this one did once again...

 

Cortona Anniversery Update Questions on Windows 10?

Greetings,

I understand that Cortona will now be the default search box in Windows 10 and will not be able to be turned off in the forthcoming Windows 10 Anniversary Update. In Fig 1 (below) if a user turns off the "Cortona can give you suggestions, ideas, reminders,
alerts and more" switch to off. What will that do in regards to the new search system? Or is this image for the current 1511 build and not applicable?

Furthermore, can a control list and explanations be provided for what users will be able to manage concerning Cortona's settings and results with the forthcoming Anniversary update?

KB4517211 breaks cortana search box

Same. The Cortana process is missing from Task Manager process list. SearchUI.exe is missing. Uninstalled and search began working again, missing processes and services were restored.
