    After installing the KB5029263 update I am experiencing multiple connectivity issues. Both machines described below had the KB5029263 update installed and are on the same network.* RDP to another machine on the same network frequently disconnects, with connections often lasting only a few seconds. * When VPN NordVPN in this case is active on one machine the other machine cannot connect to it through RDP. It states that the other machine cannot be found. Both machines had the KB5029263 update installed. This was possible without issue before the update.* The media application Plex can no long

    Do let us know the following:

    • What is the make and model of your device?
    • How is the printer connected to the computer, locally or through network?
    • Have you tried any troubleshooting steps to resolve this issue?

    I suggest you to try the below and check if it helps.

    Step 1: I suggest you to update the drivers for printer and check.


    • Right click on the Start button from the desktop and select
      Device Manager.

    • Locate and expand Print queue.

    • Right-click on the printer driver
      that is listed and click Update driver software.

    Step 2: I suggest you to run the printer troubleshooter from
    Fix printer problems
    and then check if this fixes the issue.

    Update KB5029263 causes connectivity problems

    Internet connection causes computer to loose power.

    Hello Cliff,



    An outdated network adapter can be one possible reason for this.
    To isolate the issue, kindly provide us these details:



    • Have you made any changes on your computer prior to the issue?
    • How are you connected to the internet? Is it via Ethernet cable or is it wirelessly connected?
    • Have you installed the latest Windows updates?


    To help us diagnose the cause of this error, we would suggest that you follow these steps:



    Step 1: Boot into safe mode and check if the issue persists

    Safe mode starts Windows with a minimal set of drivers and services. To boot into safe mode, kindly follow the steps on this link.



    Step 2: If issue does not persist in safe mode, we suggest you to place the computer in clean boot and check which third party application driver is causing the issue.

    Follow the steps on this link to
    perform a clean boot.



    Note: After troubleshooting, make sure to set the computer to start as usual as mentioned in Step 7 in the above KB article.
