Windows 10: Update KB5035845 fails to install on Win 10 22H2

Hi,I have been atempting to install the update KB5035845 on a Win 10 22H2 version system. The installation gets stuck on 20% and doesn't go any further. I have tried to use the troubleshooter for Win Update as well as the Windows Update Assistant. I even reset the Windows update components. None of these solutions helped. Please advise as to how to proceed. Thank you.

1. Check Disk Space: Ensure that you have enough disk space on your system drive. The error code 0x800f0922 can sometimes indicate that there isn't enough space in the system reserved partition.
   
2. Manually Install the Update: Download the update package from the Microsoft Update Catalog and try to install it manually.

3. Consider a Clean Install: As a last resort, if all else fails and the update is critical, you may want to back up your data and perform a clean install of Windows 10. Since the problem with these updates is already being fixed and your delay in installing them indicates that there is an unfixable problem with the system update component or profile, this is where opting for a clean install might be a wise choice.

KB5035845 Fails to Install on Win10

There is no mention of KB5035845 in the log. This is probably because you faced this issue on March 31, 2024, but the log starts from 2024-04-01 08:57:14. i.e., old entries are flushed out. If you find the archived logs in the CBS folder, attach them.

Or, retry the KB5035845 update and let it fail. Share fresh CBS logs.

 

Feature update to Windows 10, version 22H2 Failed to install on ‎9/24/‎2023

I recently did a clean install of windows 10 pro which has been fine since 2017. The only issue is installing the feature update 22h2. It goes through the download and install but after the restart it says it failed to install and it starts all over again.

I found a similar issue titled "Feature update to Windows 10, version 22H2 Failed to install on ‎3/10/‎2023 0x8007001f"

I followed the steps listed in the techs response however, I was unable to rename the folders in step 2 or resolve the issue.

Can you advise please. TIA
