    Hello,unfortunatly update KB5049981 on WIN10 and update KB5050021 on WIN11 updates the drivers:SecureUSBVideo.dllusbvideo.sysAs a result my USB2.0 Scanner device stopped working with error code This device cannot start. Code 10Only solution to get my device running again is uninstalling the update or reverting the 2 files above.But this is no long term solution as error could occur again with next update.I would appreciate your help.

    Win10: windows update stuck at never ending loop ?

    When in win10:
    • Update&security -> Windows update -> Finding update... .... .... ....
    Planning to download the latest Win10.ISO (vers.1803) and manually update:
    - Then wait that my ordered new SSD arrives and clone the old HDD to it.

    Unable to get Win10 to recognize EPSON 4870 Photo Scanner

    I'll walk you though the steps I do to install my Perfection 1200. I have to do this periodically for some reason to reestablish the 'non-standard' Perfection 2400 driver.

    1. Right click on the scanner in Device Manager (as Admin) and select Update Driver. Then select the option to browse my computer for driver software.

    4. Finally, select the correct Epson driver you have installed then click Next. If it isn't listed then something has gone wrong with the driver installation.

    Scanner Driver problem

    Hmm, I've got an Epson, 750 Pro, scanner I haven't tried in a while its USB2.
    Current Photoshop Machine has Win10, 64 bit with USB2, USB3 and others. Guess I'd better make sure it runs!
    Do have VuScan installed tho.
