Windows 10: Update locked me out of laptop

I did an update 3 days ago on windows 10. I'm now locked out of my computer as Bitlocker has been turned on. I have never turned this on I didn't even know this was a thing till now. This isn't too much of a problem for me and files I don't mind losing them. We have tried everything! However it's not having any of it. We've been trying over and over again to boot from the USB drive that works on all other computers in the home as tested but it's not recognising it on my MSI alpha 15 laptop that has the problem. I called currys up to see if they would look at it but I was pretty much ignored ab

Random lock up, in DESPERATE need of help.

Lock ups can be caused by overheating, or sound failure.

Make sure you update your chipset drivers for audio. Also tell me step by step of how you install your heatsink.

Steps:

• Connect to the internet.
• Press Windows key and type updates.
• Click on Check for updates.
• Under Windows Updates, click on Check for updates.
• Try to install the updates being shown.

Step 3: Update the Display Adapter drivers.

• Press Windows key + X key when you are at desktop.
• Select Device Manager.
