Windows 10: Update requested regarding the BSOD error involving netwlv64.sys

I see that BSOD errors involving Driver IRQL not less or equal / netwlv64.sys were a frequent subject of discussion between 2013 and 2016, involving computers running Windows 8 and Windows 10. I am asking if there has been any progress regarding a fix? I recently bought a refurbished Dell Inspiron 1525 which runs Windows 10. It works fine except that it is affected by this BSOD every 3-4 days, apparently at random. All drivers are apparently up-to-date and there are apparently no viruses, memory issues, CPU issues etc.As well as my question about any progress on this, I'm curious to know the t

Update the Intel(R) Wireless WiFi Link 4965AGN Driver to version 15.3.1:

Download Intel® PROSet/Wireless Software and Drivers for Windows 7*

Download the driver and copy it to a folder on your desktop. Write down the path to the folder. If the driver has been zipped you will need to right click on the file and extract to your folder.

Use the keyboard shortcut Win+X to access and open Device Manager. Locate and right click on the device and select Properties. Click on the Driver tab and the Update Driver button. Click on “Browse my computer for driver”
” (do not select Search automatically for updated driver) and click the
Browse button. Type in the Search box the file path to your folder and click on Next. The system should find the driver in your folder and update. If it does not find the driver recheck that the driver is not zipped.

 

DRIVER IRQL NOT LESS OR EQUAL (netwlv64.sys)

netwlv64.sys is a wireless driver. So that maybe the prob. It's crashing . If you can get into windows update them

 

Netwlv64.sys BSOD error Windows 10

Same laptop here, same issue too. It worked flawlessly with XP and Win7, but it bluescreens from time to time in Win10 blaming netwlv64.sys. The machine can still boot into XP and still works just fine with that OS. It's only Windows 10 that shows up
this problem.
