Windows 10: Update screwed my computer

Hi. Sorry. Second time posting with new information.

Anyone knows what this script error is?

Recently got my system up and running but this error pops up.

Startup repair and factory reset cannot be done. Doing any of these will lead me to a black screen.Cannot boot from USB too.

All of these leads to a black screen which will require me to force shutdown and in order to boot the system back up, I need to give it a 15-30minutes interval before I power on so that it can boot up. Booting up before the interval just leads to black screen of death.

Any one knows how to solve this issue? Or do I just leave it?(Seems to work now but slow performance and script error)

• When you set up the account, did you create a local account or Microsoft account?
  
• What is the exact error message you get when you try to login?

I suggest you to check if you have activated two step verification for your account. If yes, I suggest you to turn it off and check.

How to use two-step verification with your Microsoft account

Also check if the Windows Update was successfully installed on your computer.

• Press Windows Key + I and click on Update and Security.
• Under Windows Update tab, click on Advanced options
• Click on View update history and check if the update is installed properly.

Hi dalchina. Good news, I followed your suggestion and reinstalled the update and now it appears as "installed correctly" *Biggrin Maybe it was not necessary to run the Windows Update Troubleshooter or maybe if necessary. But using it I do not think it could have worsened something. The installation was very fast, unlike the first time it showed step 1 and step 2 completed.

Intel E5200 Gets Updated, R0 Stepping Coming Up

Intel's Pentium Dual-Core E5200 processor is getting on course for a specifications update. The chip will feature in a new, improved Wolfdale-2M core, spec'd out as the R0 stepping, from its current M0 stepping. The new stepping is intended to add new instructions, power-management features, and bring about changes in the chip-package. A short list of known changes is as follows:

• CPUID changed from 10677 to 1067A
• Power State Indicator (PSI) support with Intel 4 series chipsets
• New instructions - XSAVE and XRSTOR
• New S-spec and MM numbers
• New halide-free chip package

Due to the changed CPUID, users may require BIOS updates to detect the CPU. According to the company, E5200 R0 should be out by April 13.
