Windows 10: Update stuck and also the disk is 100% utilized hanging frequently :

An update "2020-11 Cumulative Update for Windows 10 Version 1809 for x64-based Systems KB4586793" is stucked installing at 20%, And also my disk utilization is shown to be 100% in task bar ,many apps are failing and computer is working slow, how do i fix this problem?

Disk utilization 100% in Task manager

My laptop shows 100% disk utilization in the task manager for the first 20-30 mins after I start my machine. During this time when it is 100%, system performance is very slow. After 30 mins, disk utilization drops again under 20% and everything is normal.

I tried reaching out to Microsoft help a couple of times in the past and they suggested me to update my windows. That may have resolved the issue temporarily for few days but it starts behaving like this again.

 

100% Disk Utilization after 1511 update.

I have recently updated Windows 10 from 1024 to 1511 since the update the disk utilization of my laptop is always at 100%. I have tried the following solutions found online:

- Disabling Windows Search and Superfetch

- Changing Prefetch value from 3 - 0

- Disabled flash in Chrome

- Disabled Prefetch in Chrome

- I checked the solution given by Microsoft regarding the StoreAHC.sys but my Laptop is using iAstora.sys

But disk utilization is still at 100%. My laptop is an HP Pavilion 13 with an Intel Core i5 5200U, NVIDIA GEFORCE 940m, 4GB Ram and 1TB hard disk.

Any suggestions or personal solutions guys? Thanks in advanced.

 

In task manager disk utility is 98-100% always

In task manager disk utility is always between 98-100% due to this, applications not working properly and i will get to update my windows also

can any one help me what to do?

if i connect to internet it will be between 99-100% some times it will be stuck at 100

if i will not connect to internet it will be normal values

how can i reduce disk utility ?
