  1. Update that restarted my computer a lot of times? Is this normal?

Today I got a pop up on the little notification tab on the bottom right of the screen saying that my windows 10 version is no updated and to restart the computer in order to update it, giving me some options to reschedule or to do it right then and there. I decided to update it some hours later and the screen says that my pc will restart various times. Is this some new update I'm not informed about or is there something wrong with my pc?

edit: The update has ended now. My wallpaper changed into a complete black wallpaper, my video settings (digital vibrance) got reset. Should I be worried?

Cannot Enter Safe Mode / Computer boots normally

    I'm running Win 10 Pro 1903.

Here are the steps I have taken to get into safe mode: Start button, settings, update and security, recovery, advanced startup, troubleshoot, advanced options, startup settings, restart. The computer boots normally, not in safe mode. Any suggestions would be most helpful. Thanks in advance for your help and interest. .

Windows Updated(16299.309).KB4088776 Restart is required to complete.

Hi dalchina. Good news, I followed your suggestion and reinstalled the update and now it appears as "installed correctly" *Biggrin Maybe it was not necessary to run the Windows Update Troubleshooter or maybe if necessary. But using it I do not think it could have worsened something. The installation was very fast, unlike the first time it showed step 1 and step 2 completed.

Thanks for the suggestions and for the time to respond Update that restarted my computer a lot of times? Is this normal? :) Best regards.

And thanks for the tip of that program, I'll have it on my list.

Update that restarted my computer a lot of times? Is this normal?

Will restarting the computer a lot (about 8 times ) damage the laptop?

Will restarting the computer a lot (about 8 times in succession) damage the laptop?

I am just restarting the laptop normally from the sign-in screen buttons. Would that damage the laptop or just add wear and tear on the parts inside?
