Windows 10: Update to win 11 22h2 always fails

Hello everyone,I'm having issues with Windows 11 update and can't complete the update by any means. The system is prompting me with two updates forWindows 11, version 22H22024-10 Cumulative Update for .NET Framework 3.5 and 4.8.1 for x64-based Windows 11, version 22H2 KB5044033The former goes through a long download and reboot each time, and ends up with the error code “Installation Error - 0xc1900101”.The latter fails to install within a few minutes with “Installation Error - 0x80070057”.My computer configurationCPU:14900KGPU:AMD Radeon RX 7900 XTX24GBMemory:Corsair Memory 192 GB DDR5 400

Win 11 22H2, Windows Update repeatedly trying to install 22H2

Win 11 Windows update is set to automatically update. Failed installing the 2022-11 Cumulative Update for Windows 11 Version 22H2 for x64-based Systems (KB5020044)

Failed to install on 06/12/2022 - 0x800f0988

It is now repeatedly trying to install Windows 11 version 22H2 (asking for a reboot) and failing (with error 0x80246007), despite Windows Update informing me that 22H2 was installed successfully on the 21/09/2022 (also System>About, reporting that windows 11 home version 22H2 , installed on 21/09/2022 OS build 22621.521)

What can I do to fix Windows Update?

Currently running win 11 21h2 want to update to 22h2 can i install win 22h2 through a external hard drive 1 tb pc is unsupported and has 8g memory you ned a least 64g correct

Win 11 22H2 Pro was host, Win 10 clients was having error connecting with 0x00000709. Doing the additional steps you mentioned resolved the entire problem even though RPC was enabled at first.
