Windows 10: Update to Windows 10 2004 from 1909 failed 0xc1900101 40017 SECOND_BOOT

I've tryed everything...Removing usb devices, Clean boot, all drivers up to date, BIOS updated, I even reinstalled with a 1909 image which was quite smoothly done, after all these acts I try to update to 2004 and nothing changed, it just goes well until around 70% then it reboots and starts to "undoing".

Error 0xc1900101 0x40017 when updating to 2004

Hi, I am trying to update my windows 10 pro from 1909 to 2004. I tried already 3 times, the first twos with windows update and the latest with the iso. However they end with the same result with the error 0xc1900101 - 0x40017 "the installation failed in
the second_boot phase with an error during boot operation".

I found this page https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/deployment/upgrade/resolution-procedures but I don't have Citrix VDA
installed (I don't know even what is its purpose) so I can't follow the solution steps.

Has anyone got any suggestion? Aside for a clean install. Thank you

Error with windows update, trying to install the November update of windows 10

The Installation failed in the SECOND_BOOT phase with an error during BOOT operation.

I have done the DISM stuff the SFC stuff and even did a full CLEAN install of windows 10 losing all my programs and that's how i got the error i listed above. I downloaded the patch using the Windows Media tool as the windows update wont seem to download it and say it will try again later. It always seems to fail on one of the restarts.

Any Idea how to get the November update installed? Oh and now some of my programs are saying im missing MSVCP100.dll and trying to go to the download page at Microsoft just says try again later.
