Windows 10: Update to windows 11 is stating my laptop doesn't meet processor req. which is WRONG cause...

This upgrade makes no sense cause i meet ALL the requirements for windows 11 upgrade. The pc health is saying i don't meet the processor specs yet my computer has over DOUBLE the specs. It is supposed to have 1hz with 2 cores, mine has 2.80 to 3.2hz and it's higher than a quad core so i don't get it. It says it has everything else so this makes no sense to me and i have to I7 laptops that have the same processor and meet all requirements and it's causing problems and won't let me upgrade with either laptop which is telling u microsoft is being shady to get money out of me to upgrade this. I ha

Yes, it's indeed true that you can bypass the processor req. by clean-installing Windows 11 using an ISO. The steps are here: Clean Install Windows 11

!!!! IMPORTANT !!!!

1. Make sure all the other system requirements are met.
   
2. Most importantly, MAKE A BACKUP OF ALL YOUR FILES AND APPS BEFORE CLEAN-INSTALLING AS THEY'D BE REMOVED.

I am Dave, I will help you with this.

Microsoft were testing and adding some more processors, and did add some to the list, they indicate they have now completed testing, and no more processors will be added to the official list.

It is possible to install Windows 11 on an unsupported processor using the Windows 11 ISO, I have Windows 11 installed on an unsupported Core i7 7700QH processor and Windows 11 runs very smoothly, however Microsoft advise you do not do that, they will not be liable for any problems caused by doing that and also you would not receive Windows 11 updates, however, everyone that has installed Windows 11 on an unsupported processor is still receiving updates.

Another option would be to contact your PC manufacturer to see if that processor can be upgraded.
