    Update took too long?


    Using a OS Bootcamp for windows

    My PC automatically updated my PC and it has been loading for 3 hours and still in 21%

    Is it normal cuz I’m somewhat on an emergency

    I searched and it says 20-1hr depending on space and took slightly longer on hard drives

    This site can't be reached, took too long to respond.

    After installing the latest windows updates, some websites will not load. I've read several posts and tried things they've said and nothing has worked. Here is what the message looks like:

    This site can’t be reached

    omegazodiac.com took too long to respond.


    ERR_CONNECTION_TIMED_OUT

    P.S. - I use chrome, but I get the same problems in IE as well.

    @smoka Great you fixed it and would be interesting to know how you did it. Care to list the basic steps you took to do it so that it can help others stuck in the same situation?

    Windows Updated(16299.309).KB4088776 Restart is required to complete.

    Hi dalchina. Good news, I followed your suggestion and reinstalled the update and now it appears as "installed correctly" *Biggrin Maybe it was not necessary to run the Windows Update Troubleshooter or maybe if necessary. But using it I do not think it could have worsened something. The installation was very fast, unlike the first time it showed step 1 and step 2 completed.
