Windows 10: Update w11 24h2 error 0xc1900201

Hi I'm trying to update windows 11, but I get the error 0xc1900201. I also tried to follow this procedure, but nothingHere you can see the errors, unfortunately when I try to upload them to the forum it says upload failed https://ibb.co/BnPh1cp https://ibb.co/6NR9Kr1P.s my laptop is lenovo legion 5 slimthanks and merry christmas

Mike,

I followed the YouTube tutorial. As I said previously the very first step failed. I continued following the tutorial to the end. The Powershell step - WUAUCLT.EXE /UPDATENOW did not function as in the tutorial. After going through all the steps I reran the Windows 10 Update Assistant. I ended up in the exact same place as before. "Something went wrong" error code 0xc1900201.

Any other advice?

Yes, try the troubleshooter for WU and see if you get the 1803 KB file after. If you're in the same loop, see in Regedit if the value is set to 1:

If you still have no success, reset WU:

Could the update from 22h2 to 24h2 be problematic?

Good day,

We have a customer who currently has the W11 22h2 in operation and would like to suspend 23h2 in order to switch to 24h2 in 2025. What is Microsoft's recommendation in this regard? Could the update from 22h2 to 24h2 be problematic?
