Windows 10: Update Wifi Gone

Hi guys my internet connection is completely gone after an update and I am having huge struggles in fixing this.

I was able to fix it yesterday by uninstalling the wifi adapter and running netsh reset cmds, but today it’s gone again... I tried the same thing and the wifi adapter cannot be recovered.

I’ve also tried wlan autoconfig and trying to USB a new Wifi adapter drive but Intel says it’s forbidden and can not be downloaded, and several other actions but am at a loss.

Any tips and advice is greatly appreciated, many thanks.

Why did the startup window get cleared?

I didn't missed any step, the list was gone and gone , even after using lot of programs the programs were not listed in that list.

 

wifi icon missing on windows 10.

I tried all the suggestions listed beforehand and my wifi icon has gone from the notifications area as well as the list in the settings for the task bar and notification area. does anyone know how to get it back? none of the suggestions so far have worked.

Hi dalchina. Good news, I followed your suggestion and reinstalled the update and now it appears as "installed correctly" *Biggrin Maybe it was not necessary to run the Windows Update Troubleshooter or maybe if necessary. But using it I do not think it could have worsened something. The installation was very fast, unlike the first time it showed step 1 and step 2 completed.
