Windows 10: Update windowns Awaiting download

Discus and support Update windowns Awaiting download in Windows 10 Installation and Upgrade to solve the problem; so it says preparing to download then finished doing that now it says "Status: Awaiting download" and not sure what to do? any help...     so it says preparing to download then finished doing that now it says "Status: Awaiting download" and not sure what to do? any help

    Windows update stuck at Awaiting download


    I always receive message " We Can't Finish Downloading Your Update " and i turn off my metered connection because i would like to download the new update. Been waiting for 1 hours and the update still not downloading anything and stuck at awaiting to download.
    This is the screenshot from my laptop.

    Hi dalchina. Good news, I followed your suggestion and reinstalled the update and now it appears as "installed correctly" *Biggrin Maybe it was not necessary to run the Windows Update Troubleshooter or maybe if necessary. But using it I do not think it could have worsened something. The installation was very fast, unlike the first time it showed step 1 and step 2 completed.
