Windows 10: update windows 10 pro key to 11 pro key

to put it short i got a windows 10 pro key from an old computer and im trying to put it on my laptop which came with windows 11 preinstalled and ive already download a bunch of programs and stuff so id rather not have to format my drives just to download windows 10 to then update it to windows 11 is there any way i can just update the key because every time i try enter the key it says invalid 00330 thats the first digits and its saying all the 0s are invalid and there are many 0s

Thanks but I don't want to do any decrypting. I want to download a Win 10 ISO from Microsoft and install it using my Win 8 key. No other steps required. Is that possible?

 

Windows 8.1 pro + WMC key activation

So it will be fine installing 8.1 pro with a KMS key, then switch to my 8 pro key and it will activate ok?

Maybe a daft question but why can't you just install 8.1 pro with the 8 pro key, or is it different keys for 8 and 8.1? seems silly when 8.1 is a free update anyway.

This worked for me last time with a Win 8 key.

Install Windows 8.1 and enter KMS key during setup. Once in windows change product key to my Windows 8 key. Go to add features and enter my WMC add-on key. Drink a beer to a job well done.
