  1. Update windows 11 without 'overloading' computer

The last time I tried to update Windows 11 it told me I didn't have enough space and had to attach an external hard drive, which I did. As it was taking a long time I went away and came back to an error message saying the hard drive wasn't attached it physically was plugged into a USB port and a totally unresponsive screen. After using the Microsoft online chat I realised I needed the laptop physically looked at and a shop was able to rescue it by re-installing Windows 11.I am now, a week later, getting a message saying "Your version of Windows 11 has reached end of service. 2. Computer does not sleep anymore (\FileSystem\srvnet)

    Method 1.

I recommend you to uninstall/reinstall the display driver and check. Follow the below steps:

    • Press Windows key + X and click on Device manager.

    • Locate for display adapter and click on it to expand.

    • Right click on the device and click on uninstall.

    • Once you install the driver restart the computer. It will automatically install the generic network adapter.
If this doesn’t help to fix the issue. I suggest you to update the display driver. Skip step3 from the above steps and right click on the device and click on update.

It is amusing how display and network adapter is conflated here..... incompetnce overload....

Update windows 11 without 'overloading' computer

Windows Updated(16299.309).KB4088776 Restart is required to complete.

Hi dalchina. Good news, I followed your suggestion and reinstalled the update and now it appears as "installed correctly" *Biggrin Maybe it was not necessary to run the Windows Update Troubleshooter or maybe if necessary. But using it I do not think it could have worsened something. The installation was very fast, unlike the first time it showed step 1 and step 2 completed.

Thanks for the suggestions and for the time to respond Update windows 11 without 'overloading' computer :) Best regards.

And thanks for the tip of that program, I'll have it on my list.
