Windows 10: Update wont load

Calling on forum techs, Im in athe middle of a confusing dilemma . Checked windows update today , an update was available , HP Inc. - HIDClass - 2.1.17.3 , went to download , started downloading , then down load failed . Pressed retry , same result . Restarted pc , tried again , same result .The following error code came up each time , Download error - 0x80248007 . First time Ive had problems with updates in a long time . My question is , is this a hackers work , or if update is real , is it an important update , and is there a means to resolve it . Im pretty computer savvy , but nowhere near

Well that's why I asked. Mine is on SSD and takes 11 seconds. Your list of games will not appear if it has not checkd for updated suggested settings for awhile until it checks.

When it says it is refreshing the game list, it is checking, because NVIDIA periodically updates suggested settings. Plus it will look for those for new games you have installed.

So, the less it is run, the slower it will be.

 

Weird occurrence - desktop won't load, spinning wheel etc

EDIT : I did what you said and tried without G (second time, didn't take screen shots), same error. I did notice that NTFS Primary 3 (NONE) doesn't have a drive letter associated with it?
