    updated my computer and now cant activate my windows 10


    Bought my computer from Geek.wish.com a couple months ago. Was having problems with the OS so decided to start with a clean version of windows. When my computer turned back on after the update it said I needed to activate windows. I went into activation in settings and did everything it said and it still wont accept the product key. Please help

    Windows 10 update being enabled.

    Anyway , You are luckier than me. My computer was locked directly after updated to Windows 10 . but the solution is easy.

    How long did you wait for activation?
    When I re-installed with a fresh install... it took a few hours to sync and activate.
    However, it did, finally, activate.

    I won't buy a key, stupid.

    I'll revert back to windows 7 then.

    When I still was on windows 7, about a year ago I added 4GB extra ram which is a total of 8GB now,
    is that causing the problem?
